My verdict: Jurlique's herbal recovery range

All natural products that smell sensational and really do what they say they will.

That's what you'll get from Jurlique's herbal range of beauty products that are all about hydration and defending your skin from those pesky signs of ageing. All the ingredients combine together to get results.

I was sent four products that I have been testing for the last month.

Here is the low down on them all.

First up is the mist, which I apply after cleansing morning and night. This mist is just beautifully refreshing when it hits the skin and the smell is so calming. Ingredients include Vitamins C and E which protect the skin from environmental factors such as pollution and are ideal for hydrating, giving your skin that glowing look to it.

Three sprays across the face, is all you need and this product will last a while. It absorbs really fast as well and I like to lightly press it into the skin to make sure it's fully absorbed and you get the most out of it. You can also spray it onto your hands and apply that way.

I had never used an essence until this one came to my door and I love it. I put three or four drops into the palm of my hand, rub together and then gently press it into my skin.

An essence is light-weight and fast absorbing, will smooth and brighten the skin as well as hydrate. This one contains marshmallow root extract which, as well as hydrating, improves the skin’s ability to retain moisture, which enhances the effect of other products you use.

Pretty much straight after applying this, you can move on to the advanced serum.

It's packed with anti-ageing goodies to firm up the skin and smooth fine lines. The 15 specially combined botanical ingredients work together to deliver, protecting the skin and improving its overall appearance.

Now the big news about this range is the release of the herbal recovery advanced day cream - a new addition.

It's also all about anti-ageing and improving the look of dull, dry skin, thanks to the inclusion of Japanese cedar bud extract and 18 other active botanicals.

A bonus is it comes with a little spoon so you don't overuse and you don't have to dig your fingers in the pot - you know ... that first world problem!

I have noticed my skin is definitely more hydrated after using this range and continuing to use the products, I am confident it’ll improve my fine lines too.

If you have sensitive skin, like me, it’s best to check with your skin care specialist before using something new, but I didn’t react to any of these products.

In addition to these four, there is a cleansing mousse, neck serum, night cream, eye serum, eye cream, face oil and gel mask as part of the herbal recovery range.

If you’ve ever used any of these products before, let me know what you think and as always, if you have any questions, please ask.
